All hours are Monday through Friday
Independence Municipal Court operates from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Telephones are answered from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The Cashier's Office operates from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Court Sessions
Court Sessions are held on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 8:30 a.m., 9:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 2:30 p.m.

Dockets
Domestic Violence dockets are held on Friday mornings at 8:30 and 9:30 a.m.
Code Enforcement dockets are held at 3:00 p.m. once a month.
Housing code dockets are held at 3:00 p.m. once a month.
Student Drug and Tobacco dockets are held at 2:30 p.m. once a month. *
Truancy dockets are held at 1:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. once a month. *

* Student Drug and Tobacco dockets and Truancy dockets are held on the same day. The time of one's truancy docket depends on the age and school of the student.
