Budget Overview and Planning Session
The City of Independence isinviting residents to learn more about the budget planning process and providefeedback as staff prepare for the 2019/2020 Fiscal Year beginning July 1, 2019.Citizens will learn more about the City's budget structure,participate in a budget planning exercise and vote on ideas generated from thegroup to share with the City Council and staff.There are two sessions available to choose from:The first session will take place on October 16 at 6 p.m. in theIndependence Utilities Center, 17221 E. 23rd Street S.; or,The second session will take place on October 25 at 6 p.m. inthe Independence Uptown Market, 211 W.Truman Rd.
