The Independence Athletic Complex is our premier facility for organized youth and adult sports. Located on 165 acres in northern Independence, this complex features 16 practice and playing fields for baseball, softball, soccer and football.
The facility is primarily intended for organized sports and sports tournaments. However, the playing fields are open to the public when unreserved. In addition to those fields, the Athletic Complex also includes a large shelter, an amphitheater, a playground, more than 1.5 miles of walking trails and ample parking.
Interested in signing up for a league? We work with several organizations, who host a variety of youth and adult sports annually, from youth soccer to senior softball. New seasons begin in the spring, summer and fall.
