Ready for pool season? City of Independence announces Adventure Oasis Water Park policy updates for 2022

The Adventure Oasis Water Park will open for the 2022 season on May 28, weather permitting. In preparation, the City announced the following policy updates for the water park:

  • Day passes, family passes, and season passes will be available for Independence residents or students with Independence addresses and school identification from the Independence, Blue Springs, Fort Osage, or Raytown School Districts.
  • Independence residents and non-residents may sign-up for swim lessons, exercise classes, party rentals, or group bookings.

Further details, including proof of residency examples, are available on the Water Park’s website at indep.us/adventureoasis.

“The modifications we made last year ensured a safe, family-friendly environment for our patrons at the Adventure Oasis Water Park,” said Morris Heide, Director of the Independence Parks|Recreation|Tourism Department. “We look forward to another great season in 2022 and will be bringing back patron favorites such as the Dive-in Movies. We encourage our residents and patrons to follow the Adventure Oasis Water Park Facebook page for regular updates.”

The City utilizes Midwest Pool Management to oversee the day-to-day operations of the water park and hiring of water park staff. If you are interested in summer positions, including lifeguards, please visit midwestpool.com to apply.
