Burn ban in effect March 14-March 22. A burn ban is in effect for the remainder of today, Monday, March 14, and is scheduled to remain in effect for the next seven days, until 8 a.m. on Tuesday, March 22, due to the potential for high winds during that time period.
Citizens are reminded to properly dispose of smoking materials, fireplace logs and barbeque charcoal by placing them in a metal container after dousing with water.
