Mission
The Drumm Farm Hoodwatchers take turns throwing water balloons back and forth. This activity includes both young and old, helping to bridge the generation gap.The mission of the Independence Police Department Neighborhood Watch Program is to strive together to achieve the following goals:
- Foster a relationship between the police department and the community.
- Help to develop a relationship between the individuals and the police officers that directly serve them.
- Help to foster relationships among citizens within a community.
- Keep citizens informed of criminal activity within their communities.
- Give communities assistance in fighting crime by providing crime prevention education.
In reference to forming a Neighborhood Watch, it is important to make sure that you include everyone within your neighborhood.
