$25.735 - $27.091/hr.

Performs routine construction and maintenance duties within the Water Department/Production Division.  Duties involve the operation of a variety of equipment, i.e. dump trucks, jackhammers, small hand tools, etc. Properly cares for all tools, materials, and equipment. Performs general housekeeping and other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to read and interpret valve plat book and operate mobile radio equipment. Skilled in the proper use of manual and pneumatic hand tools; communicating with the public and co-workers over the radio and in person. Must possess a valid Class “B” Commercial Driver’s License.  Must complete required NIMS level training within first six months of hire.

Physical Demands: Ability to climb in and out of confined spaces; shovel and dig; bend and lift 75 lbs., plus or minus 25 lbs.

Typical Working Conditions: Outdoor conditions of extreme heat, cold and adverse weather. Hours of work: 7:00am-3:30pm Monday–Friday.
