Section 1.43.007 (D) and (E) of the City Code task the Management Analyst with auditing all proposed City contracts anticipated to cost in excess of $2 million, all proposed City Contracts scheduled to be in effect for more than 12 months and anticipated to cost in excess of $500,000, and all proposed utility rate increases for any of the City-operated utilities (Power and Light, Water, and Water Pollution Control Departments). These audits are conducted prior to any action being taken by the City Council.
