City 7's operations are based out of a studio in City Hall. The City 7 Studio houses all of the City’s on-air and portable video production equipment. Everything played on City 7 comes from the Studio Control Room. It holds equipment for playback, and the controls for broadcasting live meetings.
City 7 staff uses three remote-operated cameras, a video switcher, and an audio board for coverage of live meetings. To rebroadcast meetings and other programs, the Control Room uses a video server and an automated playback controller. Staff also creates, edits, and schedules the informative slides seen on City 7's bulletin board.
