Function

This Board will work in conjunction with the Truman Heartland Community Foundation to perfect teacher appliction forms, to encourage applications and to serve in an advisory capacity to the Truman Heartland Community Foundation and the City Council in the selection of the recipient for the annual scholarship(s) to assist qualified full-term primary and secondary school teachers to pursue post graduate non-religious education in public or private qualifying institutions.

Membership Information

The Board shall consist of five (5) members who shall serve without compensation. Members shall be appointed by the City Council to three (3) year overlapping terms. The City Council shall designate the Chairman.
