Harry S Truman Public Service Awards Ceremony
The Harry S Truman Public Service Award presentation ceremony will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, May 6 on the front portico of the Truman Presidential Library & Museum.  Alvin Brooks is the recipient of the 2016 award. In addition, the Community Services League of Independence will receive the Harry S Truman Good Neighbor Award. The public is invited to a reception honoring the recipients at 5:15 p.m. prior to the award ceremonies.
