AVAILABILITY - This rate is available to retail purchasers inside the Independence
City Limits served by the City of Independence in Jackson County.
CONTRACT TERM AND BILLING - Standard Contracts are on a yearly basis with bills
rendered monthly. If service is commenced or terminated within a billing period,
billing will be in accordance with Rule 4.0.

The above rates are exclusive of every tax or payment imposed upon public utility
services by any political subdivision of the State of Missouri, for the right to
do business in such political subdivision.
- Fire Hydrant Charge - $1.38
PAYMENT TERMS - Bills are net, and are due and payable within twenty-seven (27)
days after date of bill.
RULES AND REGULATIONS - The General Rules and Regulations of the City of Independence
Water Department shall cover the supply of service under this rate.
