Police and family are looking for a missing-endangered adult in Independence, MO

For immediate release: July 15, 2017

James L. Kinder Jr. is a 51 year old white male, 5'6", 180 pounds with brown eyes and short brown hair. He was last seen leaving his home in the 4900 block of S. Milton Court in Independence, MO on Monday, July 10th around 2:00-3:30 PM. His family has filed a missing persons report and we are asking for your assistance in locating him.

James has left home several times before and usually returns within a few days. His family is concerned for him because he has not taken his medication since he left on Monday, has a diminished mental capacity and cannot care for himself. He also does not have his wallet or a cell phone with him.

James was last wearing a blue short sleeve shirt with cars on it and blue jeans, dark sunglasses and work boots. He may have been seen on Tuesday (July 11th) at E. 47th and Norfleet in Independence.
