We invite you to visit the Independence Animal Shelter. Animal Services staff are available to speak at your club, organization, public event, or neighborhood association meeting. If you would like to schedule a speaker for a particular topic or problem in the neighborhood, please call (816) 325-7211.

If you would like to make a donation towards building a new shelter, submit your donation to the Independence Animal Shelter Building Fund. If you prefer your donation go directly towards extras for the animals, make the donation to Friends of the Shelter.
