NEW FOR 2017

Beginning at the start of the 2017 market season, many new foods will be available for purchase at the market. Along with the produce, plants, jams, jellies, and baked goods, salsa, BBQ sauces, peppered jams, pickles, pasteurized cheeses, and meats will be allowed at the market!
Make sure you come and check out the new vendors and new items!

Interested in becoming a vendor for the 2017 market season?
Attend the Independence Farmers’ Market vendor’s meeting on March 11 from 9-10:30 a.m. at the Independence Health Department 515 S. Double your SNAP benefits at the
Independence Farmers' & Crafters' Market

You can now double your SNAP/Food Stamps/EBT benefits at the Independence Farmers' and Crafters' Market. You can receive a dollar for dollar match up to $25 per week, through the Double Up Food Bucks Kansas City program. The Farmers' Market is open Wednesdays and Saturdays from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. and is located at the corner of Liberty St. and Walnut St. Check out IndependenceMOFarmersMarket.com for more information.
