Pizza Ranch Coming to The Falls
October 31, 2012
(INDEPENDENCE, Mo.) Wednesday, October 31, 2012 – The developer of The Falls announced today Pizza Ranch will be coming to Independence. The planned 5,960 sq. ft. restaurant will have seating for 225 and will also offer delivery service.
The Independence site, on the west side of Bass Pro Drive, north of 40 Highway, is the third Pizza Ranch location selected in the metropolitan area and is expected to open late next spring.
Pizza Ranch is the largest pizza chain in the Midwest, with more than 165 franchised locations in 10 states, and features pizza, chicken and salad. According to its CEO, Adrie Groeneweg, Pizza Ranch is a Christian-based, family-friendly restaurant. Groeneweg describes it as a “business ministry opportunity, where guests receive a legendary experience through quality food and service and where we take a positive leadership position in the community we serve.”
Independence Mayor Don Reimal said, “Pizza Ranch has an excellent reputation as a family-friendly restaurant environment serving great food, and we are excited to welcome them to Independence.”
According to City Manager Robert Heacock, the announcement by Pizza Ranch, following the news last week of planned construction by Stoney Creek Inn at The Falls, is an indication of renewed momentum for the development.
