This Division manages engineering services for street, storm and sanitary sewer projects; performs construction inspections, contract administration and permitting for Public Works projects; provides traffic engineering and infrastructure management; prepares technical specifications and documents for contracted projects; reviews building permit applications and plans for public improvements by private developers ; and inspects erosion control and right-of-way construction.  The Division is lead by an Assistant Director and is divided into four main areas which include Community Programs, Traffic Engineering, Engineering Design and Construction Management. Staff for the Division includes six engineers, five engineering technicians, a GIS technician, four engineering administrators, five construction inspectors and a data clerk.
