Due to a significant increase in impounded cats, the Independence Animal Shelter is temporarily reducing cat adoption fees in order to make space. The usual $90 adoption fee has been reduced to only $50 through Friday, July 20. This fee includes appropriate vaccinations, spaying/neutering, and microchipping.
