Galvin’s & Terrible's Day Trip
On Tuesday, March 11, adults 50+ are off to St. Joseph on this day trip – starting with the delicious family-style lunch (included) at Galvin’s Dinner House where the main entrée will be free-range organic Amish-raised pan-fried chicken. A wonderful guided overview of historical downtown follows, and then it’s off to Terrible’s Frontier Casino. Deadline to pre-register is Thursday, February 20. Trip times are 10 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday, March 11. Price for registration is $49.
The Palmer Center will host 5-A-Day Bingo at 12:15 p.m. Tuesday, February 4. Navigating Your PC
Here’s an opportunity for adults 50+ to get mental muscles healthy and fit by strengthening them through several different mental exercises. Brain Strain I is held from 1 to 2:00 p.m. on Tuesdays, February 4 and February 18, and features wacky word games, puzzles and many other fun ways to keep exercising your brain. Cell Phone Solutions
Cell phones are great, but can be complicated. Adults 50+ are invited to bring in a cell phone and instruction book and let us help you figure it out. Health Education & You in 2014

The tournament is scheduled for 8 a.m. on Saturday, February 22. You must have a playing partner and may register for Men’s doubles, Women’s doubles and/or Mixed doubles. White Elephant Bingo

Blood Pressure Checks
Adults 50+ may have their blood pressure only checked by the Visiting Nurses Association from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 18. From 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, February 12, blood pressure only will be checked by Dr. John Chapman. The Palmer Center is located at 218A N.
