Located just South of the Historic Independence Square at the northwest corner of West Walnut Street and South Liberty Street.
When is it open?
Hours: Saturdays May-October 6 a.m.- 1p.m.
Hours: Wednesdays June-October 6 a.m.-1p.m.
- Along with the produce, plants, jams, jellies, and baked goods, new items include salsa, BBQ sauces, peppered jams, pickles, pasteurized cheeses, and meats are now allowed at the market! Make sure you come and check out the new vendors and new items!
Coming soon! Coming later this season, a new market structure will be built to house the Farmers' Market. Once built, the new location will be at the corner of W. Truman Rd. and N. Osage street. Until completion, you can still find all the great produce and crafts at the current location, More information to come.

- Smoking policy - The Independence Farmers’ and Crafters’ Market shall be entirely smoke-free. Smoking will be strictly prohibited within the boundaries of the market while it is in progress. This policy applies to all employees, vendors, and customers.
