Yoga in the Park 6 p.m.
Always wanted to try yoga but don't know how? Come to this free yoga event to give it a try! Yoga can increase flexibility, increase muscle strength and tone, improve respiration and energy, help you maintain a balanced metabolism, improve your cardio and circulatory health, and help with weight management. This event will be led by the fabulous by Cindy Newland. Please bring a yoga mat or towel to the event. There will be giveaways for participants.

Touch-A-Truck
The 11th annual Touch-A-Truck will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, September 23. Admission is free. Bring the kids and come see the vehicles on display from Independence Power & Light, Belfonte Dairy, Blue Springs School District, Independence Police and Fire departments, AMR, the United States Army, Missouri State Highway Patrol, Teamsters, and many more. Come take a close look, honk the horns and learn all about them!
